Spring in the Rockies

We enjoyed a fun spring here in Colorado. Other than the wind, we had very mild weather with less snow than other parts of the country. Unfortunately, all of our lawns paid for it and suffered areas of winter kill.

On the running front, I finished my marathon training this spring and ran the Colorado Marathon in Ft. Collins. It is a beautiful course! Since the marathon, my goal has been to stay injury free this summer and actually complete the Triple Crown of Running this year. One race is done, Garden 10-miler, with two more to go. So far, so good!

Camryn played spring soccer, while Emma ran track with the Landsharks. Camryn scored many goals and showed some great improvement in her soccer skills just from the fall season. She has a fun little team of girls, many of whom will be in Kindergarden with her this fall. Emma is showing some real potential with her running. She thoroughly enjoys it and plans to stick with it again this coming school year.

I have more to share but will leave you for now with a few pictures from Spring!
