Emma had another great visit with Santa this weekend. This was her 3rd visit with Santa this season, so she is an old pro at it now. She strutted right up to Santa, plopped herself on his lap and told him again that she wants a camera and new dress-up clothes for Christmas. Then she gave him a hug and set her sights on the cookies and hot chocolate.
Cam is still scared of Santa. This weekend was a little worse because she wasn't feeling great. This not feeling great turned into an after-hours clinic visit, where she was confirmed with strep. Ugh! Most of the time, doctors will tell you that children under 24 months don't get strep, but being that she is right on the cusp, we took her in to get tested. Sure enough, my maternal instinct was right - I actually told Brian we needed to take her in because after looking at her throat and her pointing to her neck and saying "Ouie", I just knew that was it.
