Our family is currently hosting Flat Stanley. If you've never met Flat Stanley, he is a boy with an unusual problem. A bulletin board fell on him and he is totally flat. This made it very easy for him to slip into an envelope and fly all the way from GA to visit us here in CO.Today, Flat Stanley took a trip to Garden of the Gods. He most enjoyed having his picture taken with Pikes Peak and Kissing Camels in the background. Flat Stanley decided that Garden of the Gods is a wonderful park to visit, and he plans to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer and he can have a picnic.
The students in GA are keeping a close eye on Flat Stanley's adventures and tracking his adventures on a map. What a great way for 2nd graders to learn more about different communities!
