Turkey Day

We are back from a wonderful Thanksgiving visit with Nanna and Pappa in Las Vegas. The visit started off with a morning at Rock the Tea with Nanna. Our blooming stars had a great time dressing up and working the runway. Special time with Nanna is always the best, no matter what they are up to!

On Wednesday, opening day, we went to see Tangled in 3D. It was really cute! Both girls have been  anxiously waiting for it to come to theaters and they were not disappointed. Brian and I got some quality couple time on Wednesday evening, while Nanna and Pappa hung at home with the girls. Thursday was relaxing, we ate a delicious meal at Nanna and Pappa's clubhouse. Emma enjoyed her meal with one less tooth, as she finally got her first top front tooth out that morning! She's soon going to be singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Thursday was also Thanksgivingmas for us. This is our early Christmas with Nanna and Pappa. Nanna made the most beautiful and super soft house coats for the girls. They absolutely love them!

Emma and I worked on this project during our visit in Las Vegas. She is very interested in learning to knit like her grandmothers, so Nanna bought her this quilting kit. We still need to buy some fabric to put a backing on it, but the project was fun to work on together!

I was able to fit in two runs while we were in Vegas, the weather was chilly for them but perfect for running. The girls go back to school tomorrow after a fabulous week of family time, but with only three weeks before a long winter break, we are already planning some things to keep us busy. Most of our gift shopping is done, holiday cards are addressed and decorations are almost finished. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
